Great machine
I purchased this tractor about a year ago to use for mowing, pulling a cart around, and snow plowing. It's been great and is built like a tank. It is not cheap but no one else makes a garden tractor like this anymore. The diesel never lacks power and the digital display is nice. The hydraulic controls are simple. I'm happy Deere makes a 48-in. deck for it. The wheels and tires look and perform great.

Diesel 4x4 does everything
I use mine for mowing, hilling the garden, moving dirt and snow. The 3-cylinder diesel has torque a gas engine can't match and it sips fuel. Four-wheel drive with the HDAP tires means I never get stuck, even in soft ground.

The 4WD is worth every penny on hills
I have about six acres with two long slopes that used to worry me on my old garden tractor. The X758 walks up them with the deck engaged and never slips. Mowing takes me half the time it used to.

Mows in summer, blows snow all winter
I bought the X758 with the 54-in. HC deck and the 47-in. two-stage snow blower. The quick-hitch swap takes about ten minutes. With 4WD and the HDAP tires I move heavy wet snow up my inclined driveway with no chains and no weights.

Eight acres, no complaints
Third John Deere and the best yet. The 60-in. High-Capacity deck gives a groomed cut even in thick spring growth. I pull a 900 lb roller and a loaded cart with no strain, and the digital dash with temperature and hour meter is genuinely useful.

Excellent machine, keep the radiator clean
Nothing cuts like it. My only advice: blow off the radiator screen every few hours in dusty or seedy conditions. Do that and the liquid-cooled diesel runs perfectly cool all day.

Much heavier duty than the machine it replaced
Overall a strong, capable tractor — the diesel and the hydraulics are excellent. Mine did need one wiring harness routing fix early on, which the dealer sorted out. Value, quality and ease of use are all top notch and I'd still recommend it.
