The 48-in. Accel Deep deck uses a stamped-steel, deep flat-top design for excellent cut quality and productivity at higher ground speeds. Add the one-touch MulchControl™ system to switch between mulching, side discharge and bagging without leaving the seat — and clippings never pile up on top of the deck.
Traction control keeps you moving when grass is wet or snow is on the ground. Owners on hilly and sloped properties say the locking rear axle is the single feature that puts the X570 above the X300 Series — no tire chains needed.
A full-pressure-lubricated V-twin with cast-iron liners paired to the heavy-duty K72 hydrostatic transaxle — serviceable transaxle oil, 7.2 mph ground speed and the lugging power to mow 4 to 6 acres a week with ease.
An intuitive dash with an electronic display puts key information right where you need it, with color-coded ergonomic controls. Fit a 44-in. two-stage snow blower, front blade, tractor shovel or cart and the X570 works all four seasons.

It is perfect for my 2.5 acres with a slight grade. I ordered the tractor shovel and can spread mulch, do light ground work and snow removal with it. The X570 is very powerful — I love the Kawasaki engine, smooth and reliable. Pros: powerful K72 transmission, John Deere Kawasaki engine, and my dealership was great!

Prior to this purchase I had 3 Craftsman tractors. I bought an X570 with the 48" deck, wheel weights and brush guard. Paid about twice what my last Craftsman cost, but worth every penny! This is a heavy, well engineered tractor. I cut over two acres in West Virginia. I ran chains on my old tractors but don't need them with the locking rear axle. Runs quieter. Great cut — chops the grass up better and scatters evenly. Highly recommend!

I wanted to cut with it for over a season before writing a review. The X570 has outperformed every other mower I have had. I have a lot of trees on a little over an acre and the turning radius is very tight, and the locking differential lets me navigate the tougher spots with ease. The top of the deck doesn't let clippings pile up so clean-up is easy, and the speed at which it cuts has really reduced my time in the yard. Maintenance — oil changes and so on — is very easy to keep up with.

I've had my X570 since April 2016 and I am really pleased with my purchase. The diff lock is what really sets this unit above the X300 Series. If you have hilly terrain to care for, you will know exactly where the extra money went. Also, the ability to change the transaxle fluid was a big plus for me.

Started with an X300. Liked it but it wasn't enough mower for my needs. Got a good trade-in on a new X570. Mows 4 to 6 acres every week (7 months in a season) for the last 2 years with ease. Real big and beefy but turns well for its size. Great power and it is quiet like a mouse compared to my neighbor's Craftsman. The locking differential on steep hills and slopes is a big plus, and the cut is absolutely beautiful when the deck leveling is fine tuned. Its performance convinced 2 good friends to buy the same model.

I thought I'd be sorry I bought the 570 without power steering — I couldn't be more wrong. I put a John Deere steering knob on the wheel and it's perfect. I also purchased the lawn striping kit so my lawn looks like Fenway Park grass. The X570 offers the best even cut ever. It's a bit bigger than the D140 I had and the difference is night and day. I look forward to mowing. Take it from a guy who's owned John Deere backhoes and dozers — get one!
