Great way to pick up and dump leaves

I bought this because I could no longer lift the bags off my Deere LT115 bagger. I have a massive load of oak leaves to remove every fall in Western New York. This rear discharge system is fantastic. When the hopper is full you get a screen notification and a loud alarm you can hear while running and wearing ear covers. You just drive to where you want the load, pull a lever while seated, and it dumps. Strong Kawasaki engine too. Love it!

Great mower around obstacles

I purchased this to replace a large zero-turn and found it far more maneuverable around the numerous trees and flower beds in our three-acre yard. The rear dumping hopper combined with rear discharge is a real time saver — minimal trimming around obstacles and quick unloading. In five years I have had only a couple of grass plugs. I recommend it to anyone with a large, tree-filled yard; it bags leaves fantastically in the fall.

Love it

I owned the previous version of this tractor with a rear dumping bagger — this one is much better. It turns easy and on a dime. It has an alarm that lets you know when it is full, and bouncing the deck with the foot pedal clears anything that starts to pack. When this one dies I hope they still make a version of it, because I will buy another.

Praise for the X350R!

Having worn out two Craftsman lawn tractors I was ready to trade up, and after reviewing all of the John Deere specifications I selected the X350R for its advanced features. The motor sounds like a BMW and it handles like it has power steering with a tight turning radius. It cuts beautifully and I absolutely love the rear bagging and easy emptying. Clearly designed by great engineers for owners who insist on a quality machine.

Rear bagger was a great choice

For 31 years I used a Honda liquid-cooled lawn tractor. Once I mastered the hopper-fill gauge I was getting zero jams and performance was awesome. I really like being able to get in and around landscaping with the bag in back, and the optional whale-tail rear spreader distributes clippings evenly. The combination mulching and bagging blades pulverize leaves in the fall. On my one-acre wooded lot the X350R is a perfect fit.

Has met all expectations

Bought the 350R two years ago and have used it extensively for mowing, general yard work and fall leaf collection. The bagging system is especially convenient for leaves — it mulches them, reducing volume, collects them, then drops them in a pile for easy pickup. Plenty of power, and rear bagging lets me mow close to trees without ripping a chute off the side.

Impressive performer

I bought this specialized tractor especially for its bagging features and because it fits through a 48-inch gate even with the hopper attached. It took some trial and error to learn which cutting height is best for mulching versus picking up leaves. Now that I have it dialed in I am super pleased and clogging is no longer an issue.
